Registration Agreement

You acknowledge and agree that all rights in Messenger Group are reserved by groups.im. You shall agree to all the terms of the registration agreement and complete the registration to be a user of Messenger Group and enjoy the services of Messenger Group. All rights reserved by groups.im.

  1. groups.im provides various services and applications for Messenger Group users through groups.im system and Internet. You agree that groups.im reserves the rights to modify the terms of this agreement. Once the terms been updated, groups.im will notify Messenger Group users by posting all amendments on related web pages or by other methods. If you do not agree to the modifications, please cease to use Messenger Group services. Your continued use of groups.im Messenger Group services indicate that you accept all the terms of this agreement with any revisions. groups.im reserves the rights to modify or cancel the services without any notifications. You further agree that in no event shall groups.im be liable to you or any other individual or entity connected with you for such modifications.


  2. Privacy Policy

      3. groups.im keeps your personal information such as your password, name, mobile phone number etc. confidential except requested by yourself or ordered by a court of law, or by modifications of terms.
      And Messenger Group User shall:

      1. Make the group name and registered nickname accord with Internet rules and morals, comply with related laws and regulations of People’s Republic of China and some related International laws, and also with related Internet protocols, regulations and procedures;
      2. Make Group name and nickname not include any threatening, obscene, invective, illegal and controversial words;
      3. Not use network service system to publish or transmit any harassing, slanderous, abusive, threatening, vulgar, obscene, illegal or otherwise objectionable material of any kind or nature. Furthermore, user shall not use the Messenger group to publish, distribute, transmit or circulate any information or content that is obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, defamatory, or which incites or results in causing racial hatred, discrimination, menace or breach of confidence;
      4. Not use network service system to take any actions harmful to normal Internet services;
      5. Keep its group account and password well after registration, and responsible for any damages or losses caused by any disclosure;
      6. Not abuse other’s account and be responsible for any sequences from such abuses;
      7. Not publish any unsolicited advertising or promotional business information;
      8. Not publish any false, trustless information;
      9. Not take any actions harmful to groups.im.

  3. Limitation of Liability

      4. groups.im will provide various Internet related value-added services, including free services and charged services in consideration of the marketing and technology development. groups.im reserves all the rights to charge fees for some value-added services and the rights for charging standards and methods modification. groups.im will post a notice for any changes as free services update to charged services. Users can choose to accept or cancel the charged services, and agree to pay for the charged services according to groups.im payment rules in case of using charged services. groups.im has the rights to stop services and pursue losses and compensation according to the law in case of users failed to pay or refused to pay fees.
      Under no circumstances shall groups.im be held liable for a delay or failure or disruption of the content or services through Messenger Group chat resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces or causes beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, Internet failure, computer, telecommunications or any other equipment failures etc.. groups.im expressly disclaims any civil or penal responsibilities resulting directly or indirectly from the actions of Messenger group users.


  4. Messenger Group users shall:
    • Not utilize Messenger group services to endanger the national security, reveal the state secret, the legitimate rights and interests of the ones that cannot infringe the national society collectively and citizen, and not utilize Messenger group services to make, duplicate and propagate the following information:
    • Instigate and resist, destroy the constitution, law, administrative statute to implement;
    • Instigate and subvert the state power, overthrew socialist system;
    • The one that instigate and split the country, destroy unification of the motherland;
    • Instigate national hatred, ethnic discrimination, undermined the unity of the nationalities;
    • Fabricate or distort facts, spread rumors, upset civil order;
    •  Advocate feudalistic superstition, salaciousness, gambling, violence, homicide, intimidate the cloth, subornation;
    • Insult others or fabricate the fact and slander others openly, or carry on other ones that attack maliciously;
    • The one that damage prestige of government office;
    • Other infringement constitution and law administrative statute one;
    • Carry on commercial advertisement behavior.;
    • Duplicate other’s works without getting prior approval;
    • Infringe other’s legitimate rights and interests;
    • Abusing actions.
    • Not take any business activities in the name of this service without groups.im’s written authorization or approval, and not take the service as a place, platform or a media for any business activities. Taking the service as a place, platform or a media for any business activities is forbidden. groups.im disclaims any liabilities and responsibilities resulting from such abuse of Messenger group.
    • groups.im reserves the rights to interrupt or stop the services described under this agreement without any notices in case of users breach the regulations prescribed in the agreement.

  5. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
    • IN NO EVENT SHALL groups.im BE LIABLE TO THE VALIDITY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY CONTENTS, INFORMATION OR ADVERTISEMENTS INCLUDED, CONNECTED WITH OR DOWNLOADED FROM MESSENGER GROUP. groups.im DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITIES RESULTING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM THE CONTENTS, ADVERTISEMENTS ON MESSENGER GROUP OR ANY PRODUCTS, INFORMATION AND MATERIAL BOUGHT OR TAKEN FROM THE CONTENTS, ADVERTISEMENTS AND INFORMATION. USERS SHALL BEAR ALL THE RISKS OF USING THIS SITE.
    • YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO BEAR ALL THE RISKS OF USING groups.im SERVICES AND FURTHER BEAR ALL THE RESULTS FROM THE SERVICES. groups.im DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITIES CONNECTED WITH USERS.
    • groups.im shall not ensure that the services satisfy user’s requirements, and disclaims any liabilities for the failure of services and the security and validity of services.
    • groups.im has no obligations to amend or modify any mistakes or errors on Messenger group.
    • All the contents, expressions or opinions on Messenger group are strictly member’s personal views and does not represents groups.im. groups.im disclaims any liabilities this may caused.

  6. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
    • Applicable Law. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of People’s Republic of China.
    • Dispute Resolution. Any dispute concerning the Parties’ under this agreement which the Parties cannot resolve shall be directed to binding arbitration administered by, and pursuant to the rules of, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Shanghai Commission. The arbitration award is final, binding to both Parties.
